Swimmers typically practice 4 times a week. Training involves conditioning in all four strokes, as well as an increase in distance swimming. This level is intended for the age group swimmers that have goals of pursuing their swimming career as far as possible. The practice direction, structure and difficulty will be designed to meet that end years down the road. Swimmers are expected to compete and participate in both short course and long course seasons. The continued focus on goal setting, personal responsibility, leadership, and teamwork is key to helping the Age Group swimmer transition to a Senior swimmer. Athletes continue IM training and can expect to race all events in competition. Swimmers follow prescribed weekly dryland routines. Four practices offered per week.
